Spokane Parks

Spring is in the air in Spokane, and our real estate agents know of no better time to get outside and enjoy our local parks and trails. If you're looking for a breath of fresh air this season, be sure to check out some of these amazing local parks in Spokane County!

  • Riverfront Park - 507 N Howard St, Spokane, WA 99201
Referred to by National Geographic as one of America's most beautiful urban parks, Riverfront Park is a 100-acre oasis in the heart of Spokane. The park overlooks a series of spectacular cascades along the Spokane River. It includes walking trails, art installations, an outdoor entertainment venue, a skate park, a carousel, and a cable ride above the Spokane Falls. Riverfront Park served as the setting for the World's Fair in 1974 and remains the jewel of the city to this day.

  • Manito Park - 1702 S Grand Blvd, Spokane, WA 99203
Manito Park was little more than an undeveloped space when it was first established in 1904, but it has grown to become one of Spokane's most beautiful and beloved public parks. Now spanning 98 acres, the park includes 20 acres of beautifully manicured themed botanical gardens. These include the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden, as well as a rose garden and lilac garden. Manito Park brings the tranquility of nature into the city.

  • John A. Finch Arboretum - 3404 W Woodland Blvd, Spokane, WA 99224
Head to the John A. Finch Arboretum, a charming park that spans 65 acres of wooded hills in southwest Spokane. Offering a wide range of native and cultivated plant species, the arboretum is divided into many themed areas, including a shady forest, a glen of beautiful rhododendrons, and a cherry tree grove that looks especially stunning when the trees are in full spring bloom.

  • Centennial Trail - Spokane, WA 99201
A 64-mile linear park that spans eastern Washington into Idaho, the Centennial Trail is one of the great multi-use trails in the Northwest. The trail swings through Spokane and is accessible via dozens of trailheads along the way. The Centennial Trail is open to hiking and biking, passing through several Spokane parks and neighborhoods. It also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests as it breaks out of the city. Some sections of the trail are also open to horseback riding.

  • High Bridge Park - High Bridge Park, Spokane, WA 99224
Encompassing 200 acres of public land alongside the banks of Latah Creek and the Spokane River, High Bridge Park is a historic park that has been used for many different purposes over the last hundred-plus years. Formerly home to a motor camp, sanitarium, and dude ranch, High Bridge Park now offers hiking trails, picnic areas, a disc golf course, and a dog park. The park is also known for its giant arched bridge, a particularly photogenic landmark on the Spokane River.

  • Dishman Hills Natural Area - 625 S Sargent Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99212
One of the wildest parks in Spokane County, Dishman Hills Natural Area offers 530 acres of wild, rugged landscapes crisscrossed by miles of hiking trails. Dense forests of pine, fir, and aspen are interspersed with ponds and meadows, and the area offers prolific blooms of wildflowers in spring and summer.
