Spokane Wildfire Relief

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires in our community. Families have been displaced, homes have been lost, and many are facing an uncertain road ahead.

Now is the time for our community to come together.

We are accepting donations to support local wildfire relief efforts. Every contribution—big or small—helps provide essential supplies, temporary housing, food, clothing, and other critical resources to those in need.

If you're able, please consider making a donation and helping our neighbors begin the journey toward recovery. Together, we can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support.

If you need resources, we are here for you. Below is a list of resources to assist you during this difficult time.

If your home or any structure was destroyed in the fires, Washington law (RCW 84.70) lets you petition the County Assessor to reduce your assessed value and get the property taxes on that value abated for the rest of the year. Fires started August 1, so that’s about five months of your 2026 bill on the structure. Already paid? It comes back as a refund.

Access the petition HERE.
